Aquila Karate Club was founded in October
1997 in Hucknall Nottinghamshire. by
club instructors, Tony Utting (4th Dan),
James Utting and Greg Utting.
We have a close network of skilled Instructors including Mark Symonds
and Selina Greasley, and several other volunteers who contribute to making the atmosphere welcoming at all of our venues. Our aim is to maintain standards and safe practices at all of our venues so that students may integrate at any session, with the knowledge they will be treated with respect and fairness every time. We practice Wado Ryu Karate to promote fitness and well being to all participants whatever your level of fitness you start with. Interested parties are welcome to come along and

MANSFIELD KARATE CLUB
The UKKW is headed by Sensei David Allsop (7th Dan), awarded in York on 31.07.2005. He has many years (40+) of experience as a student of Karate and has for several years been a professional instructor. This is now a thriving Federation affiliated to the world famous Wado International Karate-Do Federation directed by Master Tasuo Suzuki (PHD) Hanshi.
Training in the traditional style of Wado
Ryu has been followed from the origins
of its founder, the late Master Hironori
Otsuka (Meijin), focusing on the blended
techniques of Jujitsu and Okinawan Karate
(Previously Studied by Master Otsuka).
Wado Ryu represents the harmonising of
techniques to create the framework for
lifelong study and attempts to promote
flowing execution of movements practiced.

Chesterfield Martial Arts Academy
Chesterfield Martial Arts Academy was formed in June 2003 to allow, Ju-jitsu Wado-ryu Karate and Kobu Jutsu to be taught together. Students are encouraged to develop themselves by diligent training and appreciation of the many techniques common to all three martial disciplines. Dojo training follows the traditional aspects of Budo, because I believe one should not practise martial arts without spirit, purpose and understanding.
