(APC 20) PRVATE TASTER KARATE SESSIONS (Per group of three)
(Three 1 hour sessions or 2 90 minute sessions, for a group of 3 adult or juniors). Reductions for larger groups and deals for single sessions.Try a taster session with friends on dates to suit your group. We will give you a feel for what karate training entails and discuss any of your hopes or fears about karate training. We also do 'female only' taster sessions at your request. No equipment required, just loose clothing and a short health & welfare discussion. All questions answered frankly and your fitness level will not affect this session unless you have had any conflicting advice from your GP. (APC 21) GENERAL CLASSES & BEGINNERS COURSES (For six sessions)
We hold mixed classes every week and families are welcome. We have a strong membership who all started as beginners at some stage in their careers. Whether you choose to try this for self defence, fitness or just socialising opportunities, there is more to karate than just training in a room and then leaving until next time. You are welcome to visit and watch, or book a 6 session block at a discounted price. No equipment required, just loose clothing and a short health & welfare discussion. (APC 22) SPECIAL KATA COURSES
Our special kata courses on the advertised dates will focus on Pinan katas of your choice. These are not ‘beginners’ katas and contain a wealth of information about karate technique and body conditioning. This course is ideal for those of you getting closer towards grading, if you want to get ahead of the game or just of particular interest to you. Discuss your ideas on application of techniques with other students and the instructors. We value your ideas too.

Aimed at black belts, this course seeks to provide a more detailed investigation of Kushanku, Naihanchi, Seishan, Chinto, Rohai, Wanshu, Jitte, Jion, Bassai & Niseishi. Watch for the advertised dates and we will deal with the selected katas in rotation. Ideal for those seeking to brush up on grading preparation or to share ideas, we invite you to join in.

(APC 24) SPORTS KARATE TRAINING
Develop your speed, timing and competition knowledge sharing ideas on strategy and tactics. You have to know and understand the rules of the game if you want to maximise your potential. You will need to bring your safety equipment, preferably with sets of blue and red mitts if you have them. We do carry spares and have new ones on sale. We have at least two regional competitions locally and we will time these session accordingly.

(APC 25) SPORTS KARATE TRAINING FOR OFFICIALS
Call for more information on these sessions as we will be discussing the World Karate Federation rules on Kumite matches and preparing for the referee and judges written examination. This is good for club instructors as if you do not know the rules, you cannot give your students the best chance of success on the circuit.
